Site Settings & Management | TradeLink Help Center
In this article you will learn how to set and customize your site information.
As a user at a TradeLink site, you can manage the settings for your site. To do this, you must be in the role of "Company Owner", "Company Admin" or "Admin" as the default user.
To manage the settings, click on the Settings icon in the top menu bar.
You will then be taken to various settings options on the left-hand side, where you theb select "Site data" at the top. Everything that is changed here in the settings is visible for every user site-wide.
In the site data, you can first adjust the name and address of your location. The name of the location, here under "site name", is also displayed to your partner companies.
In addition, you can set settings for external bookings, including:
-
the confirmation of booking requests
-
a minimum notification time and
-
start time increments
You currently have two options when confirming appointment requests:
-
"Appointments are confirmed automatically": Here, all appointment requests from your partner companies are initially accepted automatically and a confirmation email is sent. However, you can also postpone the appointments again afterwards.
-
"Booking requests must be confirmed by the site": Here, each booking is initially considered a request that already "reserves" a slot in the calendar. The partner has to wait for your final confirmation. Appointments can also be rejected directly.
The minimum notification time offers different times to choose from. Here you can specify a lead time, how far in advance suppliers or forwding companies have to notify their transports. We recommend a time of one hour to offer flexibility to the partner companies, but still ensure plannability.
The frequency of available slots refers to the frequency in which time slots are proposed to the booking partners for selection. For example, at 15 minutes, it would be 08:15, 08:30, 08:45, 09:00, etc. The frequency only applies to external notifications, in the calendar all employees can flexibly schedule time slots.
Under 'Loading unit information' you can specify which additional information (e.g. Volume) should be specified for the respective loading units when booking.
The time zone determines the time zone in which available time slots are displayed to you, your colleagues and all booking partners.
Save your settings by clicking on "Update". If you have any further questions, please contact support@tradelink.co or your Customer Success Manager.
