3PL: Connecting customers to the warehouse | TradeLink Help Center

In this article, we explain how, you as a service provider, can connect customers to TradeLink and the benefits of having your own view.

Have the goods already arrived? Have the goods already been picked up? What is the status of your booking? These are the questions you or your colleagues are asked every day by various customers you have under contract. What if we told you that there is an easy way to answer all these questions: give your customers direct access to TradeLink!

1. Having your own customer view on TradeLink

TradeLink provides an additional view for customers who manage their logistics through a service provider. All customers and their bookings, are strictly separated from each other, so that users only see their own bookings in their calendar and a list view. Customers can create their own bookings and - depending on their rights - also edit them. Suppliers and Forwarders can also be invited to collaborate. Customers can easily exchange documents with you or partners, view status points and get an overview at any time.

2. Who is the customer view suitable for?

As a logistics service provider or 3PL with at least one yard and warehouse of your own, you can provide visibility into all inbound and outbound flows to all major and other customers.

3. What are my advantages

  • Maximum transparency:

Having their own access gives your customers insight into all relevant information, which they can view independently.

  • Real-time data retrieval & status:

All information is updated in real time and is available to all parties involved for an unlimited period of time and at any time. For example, your customers can directly view the status when a truck arrives at the yard.

  • Digital document exchange:

From delivery bills and shipping orders to photo documentation of damaged goods, all documents can easily be exchanged between service providers, customers and even other parties.

  • Collaboration with other partners:

Your customers can invite their contract carriers to collaborate directly, so all bookings appear and can be managed directly in your calendars.

  • Fewer emails and phone calls:

By having their own access, your customers and also their purchasing department can get their own information at any time, making communication flows a lot easier and more efficient.

  • Strong partnerships:

Through better exchange, transparency and collaboration with your customers, you can strengthen your partnership in the long run.
