Deviations Management (with TL Account) | TradeLink Help Center
In this article you will learn more about how you can report delays for your transport, if you have a TradeLink Account.
Your truck is stuck in traffic and can't make it on time? You don't have your customer's contact details to inform them of a delay? Unfortunately, these are all problems that can arise in day-to-day business. Fortunately, delays can now be mapped in just a few steps via TradeLink.
To get started, log into your TradeLink Account. You will see an overview of all of your bookings in the list view.
Then, choose the booking you would like to report a delay for.
By clicking on the three-dot menu you will be shown the option of reporting a delay under “Report delay”.
You can now enter your (new) estimated time of arrival and optionally leave a comment and/or a reason for the deviation and save your changes by clicking on “Report deviation”.
Your customer will be notified about this deviation and proceed to reschedule, cancel or accept this change.
Once you have saved your changes, the ETA with the new date and time will appear under the status “Booking period” in your list overview.
