How can I set Status Points for an advice? | TradeLink Help Center

Learn how to set status points to ensure clean data quality.

What are status points?

Status points show the current status of a booking and ensure that everyone involved in the warehouse is informed in real time. The next step in the process is visible with every status point that is set. This means that all parties know exactly whether an action is still required. Status points are also the basis for clean and reliable data in the Insights Cockpit. Using TradeLink as a central source of information also simplifies communication with other departments.

Why is it important to set status points?

Status points not only help to document the unloading process properly. They are the basis for the data in the Insights Cockpit. After all, clean data quality is the key to better insights.

How to set status points

1. Open booking:

Click on the booking in the calendar to open the detailed view on the right-hand side of the screen. You can set the corresponding status points under the ‘Status’ section.

2. Adjust time:

After a status point has been set, you can adjust the date and time if necessary - perfect if you were unable to set the status in real time.

3. Quickly correct errors:

Have you accidentally set the wrong status? No problem! Simply click on the previous status point and confirm with ‘Reset status’ to correct it.

Tip: You can now reset any status point - also the first one - even if the last status point has already been set.

4. Finalise booking:

A green mark shows you that you have successfully set all status points. As soon as all status points have been set, you can finalise the delivery by clicking on ‘Complete delivery’.
