The Ramp Assignment function allows you to reserve loading points (e.g. ramps or halls) for specific delivery partners.
This is how it works:
TradeLink users with the role “Company owner” or “Administrator” can set this function.
1. Go to “Loading points” via the location settings and select “Create new loading point”.
2. Now you can configure your loading dock as usual.
3. At the bottom you can create an “Exclusive partner connection”. Simply select the partner companies that should have access to the loading dock.

Please note: As soon as a partner company is linked to one or more loading docks, it can only book at the linked loading docks. To allow non-exclusive partners to book at exclusive ramps, please click "Allow other partner companies to book on this dock too."

FAQ
What happens if a warehouse employee tries to push an advice note onto a ramp that is reserved?
If an advice note is pushed onto a loading bay, the warehouse employee receives a message that the bay is reserved and can then release the bay for non-exclusive delivery partners.
What happens to delivery partners that are not exclusively assigned?
Delivery partners who are not assigned to a specific loading dock are automatically referred to a non-reserved loading dock. If all ramps have an assignment, they must automatically submit a special request.
Does the ramp assignment affect my delivery partners?
No. The function is only visible to you internally and has no effect on the booking process of your delivery partners.
