Here we explain how you can create a pickup order in the calendar.


To create a pickup order in TradeLink, you can follow the same steps as to create a booking:

First, open a window in the calendar at a ramp that supports outgoing goods and select "outbound" in the goods flow. Then you can enter a reference, for example the transport number. There you can also enter additional information, such as ADR points.

After that you optionally select the customer on the right side. As soon as something is entered here, it will appear in the drop-down list for the next booking. Enter the recipient's address here, so that the information is stored for the forwarding company.

 

In the next step you click on the tab "Partner" and there afterwards on "Add forwarder." Through this step you will be able to work with your shipping company, provided that they have been previously invited to TradeLink with a contact. You can find this step in the following article:

 

Note: If the selection is "Without user", no contact was invited. If the company name is in the selection without a note, a user is specified who will receive the emails afterwards.

Then you can define the load that is to be picked up. To do so, click on the "Loading" tab at the top and select the load in the dropdown. Next to it you can enter the quantity. If the load has a special feature like "dangerous goods", you can select and mark it below.

 

Optionally, you can already specify a vehicle in the next tab. However, the information for this should rather be given by the forwarding agency itself. If a mechanically created pickup order is already available, you can add it under "Files".

Then click on "Create advice".

 

After the advice has been created, the forwarder receives the pickup order by email.

All information is summarized at a glance. In addition, a link is included, which leads the forwarding agency to their advice, so that vehicle details, license plate number and, if necessary, a new time can be selected. The adjusted pickup request will then appear in your calendar. If the details and the time slot fit, you can now click on "Appointment accepted" on the right-hand side. The pickup is now confirmed by both sides.
