What if the time slot I want to book is not available? | TradeLink Help Center

In this article, we touch on two main reasons why a time slot may not be available and how a special request for that time slot can be sent.

 

 

No available capacities

All time slots for the selected day are already booked, or the capacity of the warehouse is exceeded? Select another day to announce your transport - days with free time slots are displayed in green/yellow in the calendar.

In addition to unavailable capacities, the minimum notification time of the site you're booking at is taken into account when displaying available appointments.

This is used as a warehouse logistics tool to achieve planning reliability and prevents, for example, a booking for tomorrow if the notification time is set to 1 day.

Invalid combination of loading unit and vehicle type

Here, your selected combination of loading unit and vehicle type is not compatible with the configuration at the yard. In this case, check your information regarding the loading unit and vehicle type.

I would like to book despite the time slot not being available

If there are no more time slots available, you can send a special request to the yard to request non-binding additional booking slots.

With the special request you notify the yard with the details of your transport, such as the number of loading units, the vehicle type and the desired date of delivery/pick-up.

In the comment field in the last step of the booking process, you can specify your preferred time of delivery/pick-up or the reason for your special request.

Your partner will contact you by phone or email and let you know when and if you can arrive at the site.

Usually, the reasons why you cannot make a booking for a particular time slot are operational reasons on site at the warehouse.

However, you have the possibility to make a special request for very urgent bookings.
