Advance notification without a fixed time slot | TradeLink Help Center

This article explains how advance notifications can be created.

 

When are advance notifications created?

Advance notifications can be created when no fixed time slot for the transport is known yet. They can be created for one day, multiple days, or even one or more weeks.

To create an advance notification, click on the field at the top of the calendar.

The following window will appear:

Here you can set the goods flow, booking type, as well as the start and end date of this advance notification.

You can also enter the loading unit and transport details here.

Once all required information has been filled in, the booking can be completed by clicking “Create notification”.

 

Edit advance notification

Advance notifications can also be moved to another day or another week.

This can easily be done using the “Edit” feature.

Under “Shipment data”, the start and end times can be adjusted again. Click “Update” to save the changes.

Convert advance notification into a time slot

As soon as a fixed time slot for the stored advance notification is known, it can be converted into a concrete slot. This can be done easily via drag & drop or by adjusting the start and end time.

The booking will now be displayed as a fixed time slot in the calendar.
